Ghost Face Killah isn’t just one of the best rappers, part of Wu-Tang Clan, anymore. He’s given his blessing (along with a request for some beer to sample) to the Ghost Face Killah beer from Twisted Pine Brewing Company. This beer truly brings the heat with a mouth scorching mix of Anaheim, Fresno, Jalapeno, Serrano, Habanero and Ghost Peppers. Ghost peppers? Yeah, that’s right…the hottest peppers in the world!

How hot is that? Here’s a list of Scoville Unit ratings for the heat in peppers so you can get a comparison.
Jalapeno: 2,500-9,000
Fresno: 2,500-8,500
Habanero: 150,000-325,000
Ghost Pepper: 800,000-1,041,000
Pepper spray for defense: 2,000,000-3,000,000
Seriously, look how close that is to pepper spray! Want to disable your enemy? Pour Ghost Face Killah on his eyes and kick him while he’s down! Seriously hot stuff. So hot, in fact, that brewers needed to wear gloves and masks when they were cutting up the peppers.
Unfortunately, this killah beer isn’t working it’s way over to us yet, but you can get a similar kind of feel from Rogue Ales‘ Chipotle Ale. There’s a slight heat that’s under the beer, but the star of that ale is the smokiness that comes alive because of the chipotle. BevMax on Route 1 in Stamford and Fairway Wines & Spirits in Stamford have those bad boys on a regular basis. So, kick it up a fill hundred thousand Scoville notches and take a swig.
