Let’s face it, restaurant weeks are good times to try out expensive places at not so expensive prices. They are even great for just trying out that one gem that you’ve heard so much about but never got around to trying. Well, the Greenwich & Port Chester Restaurant Week breaks some ground in CT. First of all, it’s between not only two cities, but also two states. Also, check out below, for other cool new features of this restaurant week. If that’s not enough, check our post for a restaurant week that spans the entire state of Connecticut.

We realize after doing this post that we don’t eat in Greenwich enough. We need to branch out from Stamford and Norwalk. This, dear Omnomivores, is the perfect opportunity to do so.

just for your info – china white is owned by the same people who own Lolitas and red lulu and many others not in the area that you might be surprised at.
Willett house is a must (or it has been around a long time!)
What? Same owners? No way. That’s crazy! We bought a Restaurants.com gift certificate for Willett House, but never got to use it. We used to go to F.I.S.H. often but we heard that closed recently. We actually lived in Rye Brook for a year so we know some of the Port Chester haunts. :)
my contacts are far more than the Health Department in the Restaurant buisness…
Have you heard of Bongos in South Beach Miami (Gloria Estefans’ venture into the restaurant world)? Same Owners as Red Lulu and Lolitas…the Group is CB5.
There is also a Red Lulu Boston and a Lolita Baltimore…get my drift?
Holy crap, you are right! I have much to learn from you, kemosibe.
