Dream Desserts Limited Edition Fall Flavors: Gotta Snack 'Um All!

We’ve been following the success of Dream Desserts (our review here) and their rise to the top and we have to admit, we love it.  Just a husband and wife working together with a simple idea:  make great desserts that are gluten free.  If you haven’t had a chance to see them at a farmers’ market yet or if you haven’t had one of their great bars or rolls, you’ve got to try out their flavors…especially the Limited Edition Fall flavors.

Hurry up because these three flavors are only out for a few more weeks and won’t be sold after November 20, 2011.

Here they are, treat by lovely treat:

The Great Pumpkin Roll

We had a nice sample (or two, or three, well, we lost count) of this treat when we saw Marissa and  Brian Hayes at the New Canaan Farmers’ Market.  It had the perfect blend of yummy fall and pumpkin spices.  The cream cheese frosting on top was killer, but don’t ask Danny.  He won’t touch cream cheese.

Cranberry Pecan Delight

Seriously freaking amazing.  WOW!  The cranberries shoot through with a tartness that’s offset by the rolled oats on top and the butteriness of the toasted pecans.  The cranberries had a similar consistency of a jam.  Yeah, rocked our world.

Cheesecake Brownie with Butterscotch Drizzle

The brownie was super-duper-duper-duper chocolately.  Wow.  Intense.  The brownie itself was moist, the cheesecake part was creamy, and the butterscotch added a nice contrast.  This is a decadent dessert.  This could seriously be a meal all by itself.
