The luck of the Irish might save ya this March when we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an entire month of celebrations, but ya best be knowing where to go to watch and enjoy the parade in Stamford tomorrow, 3/10. Is this an Irish accent or a pirate accent? Not sure, but we know it’s gonna be fun, green beer excluded. The fun begins at noon on North Street. The parade will then follow down Bedford and end by Old Town Hall by a special Reviewing Stand.
Our interactive map shows the basic parade route and also shows some prime restaurant spots on the route where you might sit outside. High of 43 tomorrow? You can take it! Especially because Bar Rosso is getting in on the action and will be providing complimentary coffee starting at 10. That will definitely help.
One of the best viewing spots will be at Station Eats, across from Palace Theater. Just walk up the steps and set out on their deck and sip on some Irish milkshakes. ;)
Also, from Avon Theatere Film Center on Facebook: Going to Stamford’s St. Patrick’s Day on Bedford Street tomorrow? We’ll have our concession stand open with an array of candy, soda, water, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and, of course, popcorn to keep your tummy happy for all the festivities!
Do you have any restaurants that you’d like us to add to this map? Let us know and we’ll add them in!
odd question…Do the cops allow parade watchers to have beers in cups as long as they aren’t getting rowdy? At the New Haven parade last year the outside drinking rules seemed pretty relaxed

Hey, that’s not an odd question. It’s a great question. I’m asking around and see what I can get. If I find an answer, I’ll let you know. All else fails, put it in a brown paper bag. ;)
