America is all about the indie spirit…especially when it comes to music and beer. And, it just so happens that Seaside Tavern and Sound Magazine are hosting a wicked good time this coming Sunday (5/26), starting at 1 pm. Pour at the Shore will surely be one of the great highlights of your Memorial Day Weekend. Now, you can’t exactly wear white yet, so hold off. Very soon, but not quite yet…
So, this is how it works. Pay $15 and you’ll get a beer pass that gives you tastings of all beers and a listen to all the live music. If you’d just like to listen to the music and don’t want the beer tasting, the entrance fee is $10. So, it seems pretty obvious that you’ll want to pay the extra 5 bucks, huh? Having just gone to Seaside Tavern to see Schism, a Tool cover band, we can say it’s a pretty awesome spot with lots of outdoor space, a ton of room and games, and a good drink selection.
As of today, here are the brews that will be poured out for tastings:
- Blue Point Blueberry Ale
- Widmer Brothers
- Two Roads Brewery
- Goose Island Summertime
- Half Full Brewery
- Saranac Summer Shandy
- Thomas Hooker
And, here are some of the bands that will be playing:
- The Alpaca Gnomes
When more beer and bands get added, we’ll update this for ya!
