Kristien and Dan, just reaching out and touching base with you two wonderful folks! It was great meeting you at the Cactus Rose Event a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been on the go since that night (partly fun, mostly dealing with an ailing dad in Maryland) and just returned from out of town yesterday. It would be great to get together, nosh out on delectable fare and catch up! Hope all is well with you both.

I’m sorry about your dad, Valerie. I hope he’s doing okay. Are you heading to the Darien Social event this week? We’ll be there, at least. Aside from that, we definitely need to get together and hang out again. You’re so much fun, we love you. :)
:-( No, I won’t make Darien Social until next week (the 22nd) – I just couldn’t work it into my schedule for this Wednesday. So sorry I won’t see you and Kristien then. And yes, my dad is doing much better, thank goodness. When I found out he was hospitalized, I just stuffed a couple of bags, grabbed the pooch and hit the road — I had no clue when I would be returning to Stamford. But all is well now. And BTW, Aspen was awesome! I didn’t ski, but I did go around Aspen lying my ass off telling folks I was there competing in the women’s snowboard slope style! Uh…yeah, right. I’m damn near 50 years old. Really?!? Hahaha.
Nice, you get some major air on your jumps? :) :) What people don’t know won’t hurt them, right? :) Sorry we won’t be able to meet up at DS. Next week, we’re on vacay so has to be this week to go. We have to figure out a time to meet up, then. Try out a spot or favorite. :) Talk to you soon.
SoNo Park and JAM are hosting a Free event for all kids. Starting with art and fun at JAM the kids prepare for their Halloween Parade in costumes along side the Jim Hensen Puppets down to SoNo park for more fun and a kids concert. This is to support all the Non-for Profit kids organizations in Norwalk and will be fun for all.
Oct. 28th, Friday from 5-7:30pm
