Yup, each year we honor the best in show in a ton of food categories from all over Fairfield County. Now, if you don’t like our list, remember, these are only our favorites of the places we ate at in the last year in Fairfield County. There are still a TON of places we haven’t eaten at yet – we’re only human man, and trying to stay in the same darn pant sizes this year! So, feel free to tell us about any categories and/or restaurants that you want us to try for next year and we’ll be all over it! And thank you everyone for your support this year! It’s been a ton of fun!

yes! i live fairly close (35 mins) and even i’ve only been there once. i have a small selection of photos from our lunch there. i’ll forward them along. they do a fried chicken night, i want to say Thursdays, that i definitely have been meaning to check out.

not a fan of Circle Diner. if you want a really good diner, check out Dottie’s in Woodbury and O’Rourke’s Diner in Middletown. you could do Dottie’s for breakfast, hit the Elephant’s Trunk Flea Market in New Milford, then go to Smoked in Kent for dinner. that’s a perfect Sunday! i’ll check out your reccos for falafel.
We have heard great things about Dottie’s. :) You really like Smoked in Kent? Our weakness is that we don’t travel out there very often, we admit it. :)
how about BBQ? diner? seafood? fried chicken? falafel? so bummed about Falafel Inn closing in Norwalk. i haven’t had a decent falafel in over a year!
Those are good entries for us to add for next year. Right now, best seafood this year is The Whelk. :) You know…Tabouli Grill in Stamford has a wicked good falafel and so does the former Cafe d’Azur that is opening up back as Myrna’s. Check those bad boys out. We’ll keep your reccos in mind when we do this again next year. Oh, diner: Circle Diner in Fairfield! Love that place. :)
Thought everyone should know,ridgeway pizza has the original colony pizza.i am serious,it was excellent.no 2 hr wait,pick up in 30 minutes.he had his father inlaw there that worked at colony for 34 years..it was the best colony i ever had.and i like colony,they made it like the 90s.you guys will thank me later..good night..pete…
