Congratulations to Wilton!  From March 11 to March 16 they will hold their first Restaurant Week.  This will be a great time to get out around town and check out some of the great new restaurants (and old faves) and save some serious dinero with prix fixe menus in the process.  The Wilton Chamber of Commerce will be changing their site with menu info and pricing, so make sure to keep up to date with them and check back here for updates, too.

Deals @ 18 Restaurants During Eating Greenwich and Port Chester 2013

Back in October 2011, we told you about Eating Greenwich and Port Chester:  a restaurant week that spanned two states.  Well, these two neighboring buddies are back for more action two years later!  But, this isn’t your typical restaurant week and you can thank New England Culinary Group for that.  Starting off, one of the restaurants below might give you a deal on a three course lunch for $12.13/$18.13 or dinner for $20.13/$30.13.  Restaurants also have the option of offering up a special killer deal that will get you there and save you some serious dough.  But, here’s the gem in the crown of this event:  the “Keep Eating” program.  When you chomp away at any of the restaurants that are participating during Eating Greenwich and Port Chester, you will receive a Keep Eating 20% off gift certificate to be used at any participating restaurant from March 10-27, 2013.  The certificates are valid from Sunday through Wednesday and don’t include alcohol, just be aware.

Here we go…restaurant weeks are starting to pop up again.  Don’t you love how they seem to show up just at the right time, when things seem the bleakest?  While the Darien one doesn’t run for exactly a week, it still goes from Sunday, 2/24 until Friday, 3/1.  That’s still some good quality time to get on down to Darien and check out some restaurants for a nice price.  You know the spiel:  pay a set amount of $, get a prix fixe 3 course meal.  Always a nice deal.  We have all the restaurants involved for you with our ratings if we’ve eaten there, but we don’t have the costs yet.  We should be getting those soon, so when we do, we’ll update this.

Win Big and Eat Cheap at the 2012 Fairfield Restaurant Week: 10/14 – 10/20

Ah, the anticipation and excitement that this will bring.  From October 14 – 20, you’ll be able to take part in Fairfield Restaurant Week.  This, dear OmNomivores, is a restaurant week different than ones you’ve experienced before.  First off, you have an amazing variety of top class restaurants participating.  Secondly, you’ll have a chance to check out old favorites or even some of the newer restaurants in town like Bodega Taco Bar, Martel, and The Chelsea.  Also, this will be pretty light on the wallet with lunch at $10 or $15 and dinner for just  $20 or $30.  Some places might even throw in some other kind of discount or special, just for you.  How about $10 for a case of stingers from Colony Grill?  Sold!

Meals and Deals at Statewide Connecticut Restaurant Week, 2012: 10/8-10/14

Last year we told you about Connecticut Restaurant Week.  The holiest of holiest restaurant weeks.  The restaurant week that covers the entire state…yeah, that big.  Well, it’s back from October 8 to October 14!  There are over 97 restaurants involved this year and they all have something different for you.  They might have a coursed prix-fixe dinner for $20.12, two for one deals, a certain percent off your check, or even offer specially priced bottles of wine.  We have the updated restaurants with menus, but be sure to check back here and to follow the Connecticut Restaurant Association on Twitter and Facebook for updates, too.

Cruising the Sound and Noming the Night Away – Norwalk, CT

Looking to spend a night out on the Sound over the summer and watching the sun set?  Well, look no further.  Every Friday this summer until August 31, there will be a Sunset Cruise brought to you by the Norwalk Seaport Association.  You’ll leave at 6 pm from the Sheffield Island Dock (on the corner of Water and Washington) and you’ll get back at 8.  You’ll then stroll over to the brand new Atlas Restaurant where you’ll be treated to a 3 course prix fixe menu.  Although this spot at 19 North Water Street seems to be cursed by restaurants opening and closing there, their focus on seafood makes sense and the menu looks fun and creative.  All of this costs just $47 per person or just the cruise for $20 each (buy here).  Remember to tip your server, though!  When you park, be sure to find a spot at the Maritime Garage.  Bring your parking ticket to Atlas Restaurant and they’ll validate it for ya.
