6th Annual Harvest Wine Tasting
Equinox Fitness – 72 Heights Road – Darien, CT
Sat, November 5th 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

If you’re a serious food addict you know about Nicholas Roberts Gourmet Bistro in Norwalk and have eaten there a few times.  If you’re even more of a food addict, then you also know about Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines in Darien.  BTW, you know if you get some wine at Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines and take it to Nicholas Roberts Gourmet Bistro there’s no corkage fee?  Yeah, the Troilo brothers have you covered.  When we first moved to Stamford, we stopped by for some wine and loved the shop.  So much to see, experience, and so much to learn from Peter and the staff.  You’d be pressed to find a better and more knowledgeable wine staff in all of Fairfield County, no doubt.

Peter, who runs Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines, reminded us about the awesome 6th Annual Harvest Wine Tasting event that’s taking place this weekend by tweet.  We first heard about it this past weekend from his brother Robert at Chilifest.  Well, let’s break it down for you, nice and smooth, like a fine red wine:

• Free wine tasting from 4-8 on Saturday, 11/5 at Equinox Fitness in Darien
• Give back for all the fine wine you’re tasting and donate money to Turning Wine Into Water
     • Turning Wine Into Water was started by Robert and Peter’s father to help provide clean water to and save thousands of children’s’ lives.
• Find great wines to purchase for your Thanksgiving, Chanukkah, and Christmas dinners!
• Find great wines to just drink on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other day of the week.
Please RSVP and let them know you’re attending by e-mailing or calling the store at (203) 655 – 9045.  Tell them Danny and Kristien from OmNomCT sent ya.  Or just call and e-mail and say you’d like to attend.  We won’t be offended. ;)

Stop by Nicholas Roberts Fine Wine, too:
