Update: 3 Days to Open starts July 20 at 10 pm.
Big news! Are you planning on opening up a restaurant between March and June of 2012? If so,
Bobby Flay would like to work with you and put you on his new
Food Network show called Three Days to Open. Bobby will mentor a select cast of entrepreneurs a few days before their eateries open. The chosen restaurateurs will not only receive excellent advice from Bobby (think of all the
restaurants he owns and is chef for across the county), they will also get a ton of publicity. One of the featured spots will be Stamford, CT’s own
Melt Mobile! Check out when they and
Bobby hit up Stamford by surprise.

my husband passed away in2004. he ownesd an appliance store. since his passing the bldg has been rented as an auctioneer business. it is now vacent. i have been considering putting a ice cream sandwich type restaurant in. the town is small, and know as an antique town. there is nothing like this in town at the present. i am totally blind to this idea i have no idea of the cost or anything else about running one. if u have any suggestions i would be very greatful thank you very much.

Hi my brother & my son are trying to open a restaurant, NOW! They had to push the soft opening back by 2 weeks already & the Grand opening has to be August cause that’s when he has to start paying the mortgage on the building, there is plenty of potential here, but between the both of them there’s “0” experience… they are really trying hard, but I am worried for them… I know this is late, but if there is any way you can help I would be forever grateful!

Hi Mandy. Bobby Flay’s representatives wrote us and asked us to promote this for him. You will need to contact him to see if there’s anything to do. As far as we know, though, he’s done filming this season of 3 Days to Open. There is always the chance for a new season, so why not contact him and see?

So….you want to take an obvious chance, then stick with the “safe” options. But, if you want to truly inspire ‘genius’ and ‘ingeniousnes’ then have a ‘chopped’ show with complete ‘newbies’ to the cooking world – something similar, yet totally unique.

Good luck to both of you in the opening! :) We’re not sure if there will be a second series. We guess if it’s very popular, they’ll create a second season. If we get info about that, we’ll let you know.
