There are now more reasons to go, though.  With the addition of Chef Mike Hazen, they are changing things up.  The menu has been tweaked and now you have another reason to spend each and every night there.  Yes, Chef Hazen has created amazing gastropub style daily specials that start at 5 pm.  Here’s the rub:

Monday:  Donut Burger  |  $14
maple glaze, cheddar, bacon, square patty

Tuesday:  Taco Slider Night|  $8.5

Wednesday:  Pint of Prawns  |  $15
lemon mayo, cocktail sauce

Thursday:  Chef’s Night

Friday:  Farmer’s Market, it’s all about local

Saturday:  Brunch till 4…
Lob Cobb  |  $22

Sunday:  Brunch till 4…
Proper Roast Beef Sandwich  |  $12
horseradish sauce & watercress

Check them out any ol’ time and check them out July 30 at 7 pm.  At that time they’ll be hosting a Stone Brewing Company beer dinnerStone Brewing Company, based in San Diego, is putting out killer beer and one of our favorites of all time:  Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale.  So, check out the new chef, the new specials, the new brunch, and the new beers.

Cheers, blokes.

they are not rude or anything like that – its just painfully slow and inattentive every time I have given them a shot. Even on a relatively quiet Sunday after the brunch rush we sat and waited for our order to be taken, then we waited and waited for the food, then we waited and waited and waited for a check.

True, beer does make it better. “The Bartender Song” by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones really describes your sentiment well :)

We went for lunch this past Saturday. There wasn’t anyone there, possibly two other tables at most, so we had very good service. The pub food was excellent. We had the burger, cubana quesadilla, the MALT along with some of the best shoestring onion rings ever.
