We might have written about the world coming to an end, thanks to a bunch of Mayans who forgot to finish the calendar, but we’re still optimistic about our future. We’re so optimistic, in fact, that we’ve prepared a nice list of places to paint the town red (or white, or rosé) on New Year’s Eve. Whether you want to go all NYE crazy, or have a nice meal out with friends, family, or even your honey boo boo (awww), we’ve got the details. Bridgeport
Barnum Publick House: $45 for a 4 course dinner that includes a champagne toast at midnight. Call at (203) 690-1044 for reservations.
Greenwich
Morello Bistro: 5-7:30 is a la carte and 8:30-11 is a $95 4 course dinner with a prosecco toast and a live DJ. Check for reservations at (203) 661-3443.
New Canaan
Boulevard18: A special New Year’s Eve menu will be available. Call for reservations at (203) 594-9900.
elm: five courses for $125, paired with wine for $75 more. Call 203-920-4994 to reserve your table.
Norwalk
Bar Sugo: two seating prix fixe with free champagne (203) 956-7134.
Basso Cafe: 5 courses from Renato Donzelli. Two seatings at 6 or 9 at $120 per person with a champagne toast for both seatings. Note, tax and tip aren’t included and if you bring your own wine there’s an additional BYOB fee of $10 per bottle. Call for reservations at (203) 354-6566.
Brasitas: seatings at 7 and 9:30 for $55 per person. Includes a prix fixe meal and a glass of champagne. (203) 354-7329.
The Ginger Man: There will be a full menu plus dinner specials and a champagne toast. Check out their legen-wait for it-dary beer selection. (203) 861-6400.

Red Lulu: seatings at 6 and 8 pm with live music from Francois Weiss. Cocktail party at 10 pm. $75 reservation. 2 hour open bar with champagne toast at midnight. Cocktail attire suggested. (203) 939-1600

Strada18: Specials available a la carte or prix fixe for $75 that includes an amuse bouche, four courses, and a palate cleanser. Add a wine pairing for each course for an additional $35. Call for reservations at (203) 853-4546.
Stamford

Coalhouse Pizza: Dogfish Head Party from 11 am to 8 pm! So many Dogfish Head beers, you won’t know what to do.

Great work as always guys. Certainly going to be taking advantage of this fine guide. I am glad that you covered this cause I really do think that it seems that many restaurants and bars neglect to offer up details. I was checking the usual list of sources…individual websites, twitter feeds and facebook pages and found nothing. So thanks again for doing what you do…Really wasn’t in the mood to call every place in town (done that in the past haha)
