Two Roads in Stratford is honoring the men and women who are fighting or who have fought for America on 11/9/13. Not only will any member of the military receive $2 off any pint of beer, Two Roads will also be donating a portion of sales to charity on that day. Just buy a pint and the brewery will donate $1 towards the Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation. If you’re anything like us, you could at least donate $10 between two people by just drinking at the bar and checking out the food truck action…most likely Ruff’s Wood Fired Pizza.
While you’re there, you’ll definitely want to check out Two Roads’ newest brew: Route of all Evil. It’s a seasonal black ale that has people talking. It also has people really freaked out…that clown is super creepy. It’s on tap now and is in liquor stores throughout CT…then again, we think this brew will sell out fast like Roadsmary’s Baby did!
So, you know what you have to do! Get down to Two Roads on 11/9 and try it out. You’ll be helping out the CT Fallen Heroes Foundation and you’ll be enjoying a great brew. You can, of course, try out the other beers that Two Roads and head brewer Phil Markowski have available. In fact, why not try a pint of each? If we all went, had a pint of every brew, think of the thousands of dollars everybody could raise.
Dan will have a drink for his dad who served in Vietnam as a Marine and proudly earned two purple hearts. Thanks dad and all servicemen and servicewomen across the country who keep our nation safe.
