Back in August we let you all know about the devilishly amazing Evil Twins Brewing. Basically, Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø is a genius in the beer world. He started brewing beer in Denmark and then the awards started rolling in. Ratings of 99 and 100 were given to his brews…and then he moved here to America to bring a little Evil into our world. He finds breweries that he loves, sets up shop, brews some kill beer, packs it, then heads off to the next location. Case in point: Ryan and the Beaster Bunny, a saison that was produced right at Two Roads in Stratford, CT.
Being the mad scientist/genius that he is, Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø began working with Fritz Knipschildt of Chocopologie in Norwalk and Knipschildt Chocolates on probably the most amazing collaboration to ever exist in the history of the world. The Evil Twins Brewing Brewmaster and the Master Chocolatier came together and created Even More Denmark (they are both Danes), a Smoked Chocolate Chestnut Stout. While this might be close in name to other Evil Twin brews like Even More Jesus and Even More Jesus Port, the taste will be quite different.
Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø worked with Fritz’s superior chocolate to really make it come alive and pop in their collaboration brew. The fun part of this collaboration is that it’s not just about creating a beer. Fritz is also making Even More Denmark truffles that will feature the Even More Denmark beer from Evil Twin Brewing. This is truly awesome, but here’s the kicker people…according to Grubstreet, both of these will only be available at the soon-to-be-open Whole Foods in Brooklyn.
