Little Pub Opening Third Restaurant in Cos Cob, Greenwich

Artist’s rendering of Little Pub Greenwich, from FB page

Ridgefield got Little Pub in 2009.

Wilton got Little Pub in 2013.

And, damn right, Greenwich is getting Little Pub in 2014.

That’s right.  Little Pub is opening up its third location and has set its sights on Greenwich, more specifically Cos Cob.  Their new location will be located at 531 East Putnam Avenue, the former location of Fonda la Paloma.  We’re gonna miss saying “Fondle my Paloma” every time we pass it now, but that’s okay…Little Pub is coming in.

While we don’t have too many details yet, we have confirmed with Little Pub Ridgefield that they are opening, and they’ve set a tentative opening date as Spring 2014.  You can, most likely, expect the same menu and you can definitely expect a killer beer menu like their other two spots.  In fact, in that rendering, you might notice a nice outdoor beer garden area, yes?  How nice will it be to just sit out there and just chill, drinking some brews?  And with all those fine beers they’ll have their burgers, little plates, soups, sandwiches, salads, and more.

Spring’s pretty far away, but in the meantime keep up to date with them on Facebook and make sure to keep up to date with us by checking out our blog and subscribing by e-mail right up on the top right corner.

We’ll definitely be all over Little Pub Greenwich and we look forward to this great addition to the dining and drinking scene of Greenwich.

Hey Dorothy, we saw them working on the parking lot, also! To say we’re excited would be a gross understatement. So, as for the opening, we think it will be pretty soon. You can see their progress up on their Facebook page. If we get any more info, we’ll let you know!

I live down the road from the new(ish) Wilton location and while the food has always been great, it’s almost nearly impossible to get a table. A Sunday evening or week night is easy, but Friday and Saturday are really difficult. There’s little to no room to wait for your table, and the place is SO loud (even with the addition of noise absorbers on the ceiling a couple of months ago). It’s just not where you want to unwind after a long week, let’s put it that way. They need A LOT more space to meet the demand.

Yeah, you’re right about being swamped. Even when we went to Ridgefield years ago, it was packed. We found a cozy spot out in the garden, so it was pretty quiet there. Whenever we pass the Wilton location it’s busy like you say. Hey, good for them. :P Just sucks when places you like are so popular that it’s hard to get in. Hope we don’t have trouble getting into the Greenwich spot. :s :s :s

Cool! Have you guys been to the other locations? I haven’t but always excited to have a new place to try nearby. And the patio + beer sounds divine!

We went to the Ridgefield spot a few years back and had a decent meal, and Kristien has been to the Wilton spot a few times and really enjoyed it. We’ve also had their food at fundraisers and really liked it. They take great care of the beer here, you know? For example, they’ve been aging a Dogfish Head for a year now and are serving it up to people. That just oozes love. :)
