Hangover Cures

Bridgeport

Harborview Market:  tucked away in the Black Rock neighborhood, we loved coming here for sandwiches and coffee.  It’s super laid back so they probably don’t care that you look like a horrible mess from the night before.

Walrus + Carpenter:  let the smokiness of the BBQ here cut away at your fuzzy-headed feeling.  Plus, they have lots of other options here for brunch, so hit um up.

Darien

espresso NEAT:  coffee always helps, so why not drink a few gallons worth here?  Plus, check out their fresh breads and baked goods.

Estia’s American:  awesome, hearty breakfasts to cure those hangovers for those who want that down with locally loved food.  We prescribe any of their hashes…perfect.

Sugar Bowl:  one of the best spots for breakfast in Darien for good, down home breakfast options.

Fairfield

Circle Diner:  our favorite diner when we lived in Black Rock.  Solid choice.

Garden Catering:  the more fried things, the better.  Start the day off right…plus they do have plenty of breakfast sandwich and platter options, too.

Greenwich

Eleven14 Kitchen:  New Year’s Day brunch is ready to help you recover.

Garden Catering:  the more fried things, the better.  Start the day off right…plus they do have plenty of breakfast sandwich and platter options, too.

Norwalk

Cafe Turnier:  while Cafe Turnier does have some pretty awesome Caribbean food, they get just as much buzz from their killer breakfasts and breakfast sandwiches.  Nurse that hangover here and Ernie will take care of ya.

Garden Catering:  the more fried things, the better.  Start the day off right…plus they do have plenty of breakfast sandwich and platter options, too.

Liz Sue Bagels:  many argue this to be the best bagel in the world.  Pile it up with lots of toppings and let the fat drench into your body.

SoNo Baking Company:  hearty breakfasts, amazing breads and pastries, and enough food here to make everything right with the world all over again.

Valencia:  the perfect cure:  burritos and arepas.  Oh, and pour on the green sauce.

Ridgefield

Bailey’s Backyard:  let Chef Forrest Pasternack cook you up some amazing brunch options made with veggies and meats from local farms.  The chill-out time begins at 11:30 am.

Stamford

City Limits Diner:  probably the classiest and cleanest diner you’ll ever be to.  You can get rid of the hangover in style.

Garden Catering:  the more fried things, the better.  Start the day off right…plus they do have plenty of breakfast sandwich and platter options, too.

Liz Sue Bagels:  if you spent all night at Coalhouse Pizza, chances are that you’ve woken up in a drunken stupor in the back parking lot.  So, why not just head over to Liz Sue and get one of their killer bagels?  The more butter the better.

Westport

The Granola Bar:  yes, they do have plenty of options here for healthy eating like yogurt…and we know yogurt is the last thing on your mind after a night of heavy drinking.  BUT, there’s plenty more on the menu and they have great coffee options, too.

Wilton

Bistro 7:  Hangover brunch from 12-3 pm.  ‘Nuff said.
