Discounted Chowdafest 2014 Tix on Sale at Stop & Shop

5 Jan

The Sixth Annual Chowdafest that goes down on SOUPer Bowl Sunday is just around the corner.  So, whether you just love soup, you’re upset that your team never made it past the regular season, or you just want to pre-game at Webster Bank Arena, ChowdaFest will be the place to be from 11 to 3 on 2/2.  There will be 28 restaurants competing to win your votes for best chowda in three different categories, yes…but there will be so much more that we can’t wait to share with you as one of the sponsors for this year’s event that helps to benefit The Connecticut Food Bank.

In the meantime you can make entry into Connecticut’s biggest food competition super easy:  buy your tickets in advance.  While they are normally $12 each, if you buy them at any Stop & Shop in Fairfield or New Haven Counties, you’ll get $2 off and only pay $10.  Admission for children 6-12 is just $5 and kids 5 and under are free.

When you get your tix fix, you better be ready to sample lots of chowda:

New England Clam Chowder

  • Blue Lobster Seafood
  • Brennan’s Tap Room
  • Close Harbour Seafood
  • Dunville’s Restaurant

We’ll be posting more about how Chowdafest 2014 is gonna be more awsomerest than the previous years.

Keep in touch. ;)
