Bourbon buddies, we’ve got some great news for ya: Plan B Burger in Stamford will be hosting an event sure to please you. It’s called Distill it with Willett and it’ll be held on 3/24 at 6 pm. Tickets are $75, tax and tip included. We know that we had you at “bourbon,” but let’s take you through why you’ll need to get your tickets today. But, don’t wait too long because these bad boys are sure to go fast and sell out.
Starting off, there are five courses that Plan B and Willett Distillery are pairing with bourbon and bourbon cocktails. Not happy in that being enough, they’ve also used bourbon in every single course! Here we go:
First Course: Roasted Corn and Rock Shrimp Hush Puppies in a Pool of Smoked Bourbon Cream
Second Course: Posole Soup with Bourbon Braised Beef Dumplings and Spicy Red Pepper Rouli
Third Course: Salad of Baby Organic Greens with Bourbon BBQ Apples, Blue Cheese, Candied Walnuts, and Corned Red Onions. Tossed in a Bourbon Mustard Vinaigrette
Fourth Course: Pan Roasted French Breast of Chicken over Classic Corn Succotash, Garlic Braised Greens, and a Bourbon AuPoivre Sauce with a Bacon Popcorn Brittle
Fifth Course: Housemade Bourbon Creme Brulee with Molasses Cookies
And, as an extra added bonus, you’ll get to meet and talk with Drew Kulsveen, the Master Distiller of Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky!
