Two Roads Brewing in Stratford will release a new series of beers on April 19 that are exclusive to only the brewery. Yes, that means you’ll have to visit and, gosh darn it, when you’re there, guess you’ll have to drink them and the other brews that are on tap. Oh darn! :P Here are the three beers being released at the Spring Nor’yeaster event:
- Henry’s Farm Barrel Aged, a Double Bock Lager Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels
- Krazy Pucker, a Berlinerweiss Style Beer that Is Brewed to Be Sour
- Urban Funk, a “Wild” Ale that Was Made from Local Yeast Gathered during Superstorm Sandy
What’s that? You don’t want to wait until April 19 to drink these…and a few other unreleased brews? Okay, then there’s a way for us to help ya out: on April 15th at 6:45 you be at Two Roads’ Peek Under the Clouds Beer Dinner. Each ticket is $70 and that will get you a five course beer-paired dinner prepared by some of CT’s best and most awesome food trucks. Tickets go on sale today, 3/19/14, at 1 pm so make sure to snatch them up!
