Introducing…the one, the only…White Willi.  It’s a collabo between Dave Wollner of Willimantic Brewing Company and Mark DaSilva of Southport Brewing Company.  They met at SBC Stamford just yesterday to get the brew started.  This bad boy will be a beautiful, sessionable beer.  Here’s a bit more about it:

Starting off, it’s an unfiltered White Pale Ale that they brewed with 2-row, rye, wheat, and just a bit of crystal malts.  Then, finishing it off, they put in Centennial and Cascade hops with some orange peel.
White Willi will be on sale at all SBC locations, sometime around 5/12…just in time for the launch of CT Beer Week #1!  And, Dave and Mark have genererously agreed to donate a portion of White Willi sales to a local charity.
Cheers!
