CT Beer + Restaurant Weeks Brewing Statewide October 13-19

Get ready to drink some ridiculous amounts of beer and eat dish after dish as the second CT Beer Week of the year eclipses with Connecticut Restaurant Week from October 13-19. Well, okay, you’re probably ready to eat and drink, but let’s get ya primed and ready for meals and deals galore.

First up is CT Beer Week. Breweries and restaurants around the state will be offering special beers, collaborations, events, and deals to help quench your demanding thirst. Plus, make sure you check into Untappd (let’s be friends) and get the CT Beer Week sticker just like last year!

Well, here’s a little taste of what to expect (with more to come):

🍺 Black Hog has released CT WetHop “Love Bomb,” an IPA made with all Connecticut grown hops. It’s literally farm-to-bottle because the hops were freshly picked and used within an hour. This is the latest in their Farmland Series, where they use local ingredients and give back a portion of the profits to Working Lands Alliance.

🍺 Half Full Brewery presents its monthly Rare Beer Night on 10/15 from 7-9 pm.  Tix are just $32.64 and include full pours of 3-5 beers made just for the event plus some paired snacks.  One of the rare beers is near and dear to us:  it’s a collaboration stout that we brewed with Headbrewer Jen Muckerman.

🍺 Overshores Beer Dinner at The Old Dublin in Wallingford. Call The Old Dublin at (203) 949-8022 for more info and reservations.

🍺 Relic Brewery tap takeover at Cask Republic in New Haven on 10/15 from 7-11. They’ll be sharing a rare cask of Fortnight IPA brewed with grapefruit peel and Simcoe hops. Headbrewer Mark Sigman will be on hand, too.

🍺 Local in Fairfield will host a Hooker Brewery tap takeover on 10/16 from 7 to midnight.

🍺 Cork & Brew in Southington is hosting a Beer & Hard Cider Tasting on 10/18 from 10-4 pm and on 10/19 from 12-4. $5 per beer/cider, plus you get to keep the glass. And, just by attending, you’ll get a 20% off coupon to make beer, wine, or hard cider with them in the future. Book a date for brewing/fermenting and you’ll get 30% off!

🍺 Harvest Bounty Wine & Brew Fest on 10/18 from 2-6 at the Litchfield Community Center. The event features a mix of local and regional brews, plus there will be plenty of wine too.  Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

And, you’ll definitely want to take part in Connecticut Restaurant Association’s CT Restaurant Week. And why wouldn’t you with meals coming in at just $20.14 or $30.14?
