You’ve been patiently waiting for a moment like this. Okay, let’s be honest…you haven’t been very patient at all. You’ve been checking the Coalhouse website, you’ve been harassing Gerard, the owner, non-stop…when is the next beer dinner? When can we experience food and beer like its meant to be experienced? If you’ve been paying attention you know that date is near…like October 6 at 7 pm near. Like, so ridiculously ridiculously close you can taste the Loaded Mashed Potato beer dough pizza and smell the brews kind of close. Tix for the 5 course New England Brewing Company beer dinner are just $55 (tax and tip extra) with major proceeds going right to Stamford Hospital Bennet Cancer Center who is fighting hard to eradicate breast cancer. You’ll definitely want to get your ass in gear, though, because those tix are almost gone, being capped at 100. So, let’s go through the menu that both of us created to pair perfectly with New England Brewing Company brews. First off, our inspiration: it’s the start of fall and comfort food sounds awesome right about now, huh? We wanted a menu that would reflect things that make us happy and make us feel all warm inside.

🍻 Beer Battered Buttermilk Fried Chicken w/ Corn on the Cob

🍻 Apple Pie w/ Cheddar Beer Crust

Please note that every single course will be served with a full pour of NEBCO beer (the list is being finalized now, and we’ll update you when it’s done) and each course will have a NEBCO beer used in the recipe. Yeah, you’re getting double drunk on Monday!
