Last year we travelled up to Ridgefield to get a taste of what they were cooking at their yearly Taste of Ridgefield event. One of our favorite restaurants in CT, Bailey’s Backyard, is in Ridgefield, so we figured we’d see what else the town and nearby areas had to offer. Turns out it had a whole lot to offer and we made our way through restaurant after restaurant, drink after drink. Despite the event being crowded (it’s in a bigger venue this year), it was fun, energetic, and was an absolute success.
Fast forward now to January 25, 2015 when The Rotary Club of Ridgefield is putting on their 16th Annual event at Founders Hall. Taste of Ridgefield not only features samples from over 30 local restaurants and food vendors, but also acts as a major fundraiser for scholarships and fuel subsidies for local families. Tickets are $40 in advance ($25 for children 8-12) or $45 at the door and you get your choice of attending either the 12:30-2:30 session or the 4-6 session.
