Connecticut Beer Summit ft. 2 Roads, Half Full, Black Hog, OEC, Shebeen

2 Feb

UPDATE, 2:59 on 2/2: Reserve Your Spot, Only 100 Tickets!

While there aren’t any Pumpkin Peach ales being brewed here in CT, the craft brew community in the Nutmeg state has been growing by leaps and bounds. IPAs, IIPAs, pale ales, stouts, saisons, sours: you name it, we got it. However you look at it, CT beer is truly in a renascence period here and is growing at an immense pace. And, it’s with that kind of evolutionary spirit that Ken Tuccio of The Welcome to Connecticut Podcast announces his first ever live event to celebrate 1 year of podcasts: The Connecticut Beer Summit.

CBS goes down on 3/4 at 7 pm right at Two Roads Brewery. Ken will be the moderator of a live panel discussion that features Two Roads, Half Full, Black Hog, OEC, and Shebeen. There will be questions that Ken has already prepared, the audience will have a chance to ask questions, and you can pre-submit questions by e-mailing ctbeerquestions@gmail.com.

CBS costs nothing at all, but it’s recommended that you get there early so that you can get a nice spot (only room for 100) . . . and some brews, too. Yes, don’t fret, Two Roads brews will be sold so you can whet your thirst with some Road 2 Ruin or any of their other brews.

I believe the pumpkin peach this is in response to budweiser’s craft-attack ad last night.
