As we approach our 10 year wedding anniversary and Dan approaches his 40th birthday (shhh, don’t you dare say a thing), we’re thinking that we want to go all out for our next vacation. We’ve been debating back and forth where we should go: Brazil, Chile, Morocco, Greenland, Germany, Sweden? All these spots have some great things to them, but we think we’ve narrowed down our choice to France! We’re going for the food, the art, the culture, the cheese (different kind of culture) and . . . oh yes, the wine!
So, we figure that we need to get acclimated to some French cuisine and style, so we’re heading to Bistro Versailles on March 31. Starting at 7 on that day they’ll be throwing La Soirée Printanière (The Spring Festival) which includes a welcome cocktail, various hors d’oeuvre, and a seven course meal with notable wines. Tickets are $75 with tax and tip extra which ends up being a great deal when you price up all the courses and the wine that you’ll be swishing in your glasses.
