We’ve heard that people eat tea and crumpets while they are in greenhouses. Or they wear khaki capris with those sick green visors that you might wear if you’re playing poker. So, what MiKro Beer Bar has planned at Michael’s Greenhouses in Cheshire will be a total game changer! Yes, they’ve teamed up with Caseus Food Truck, NoRa Cupcake Company, and lots of great craft breweries for the first ever Greenhouse Beer Festival.
The drinking starts at 1 pm on April 12 and goes until 4 pm, giving you plenty of time to check out all the features and plants in the greenhouse and, oh yeah, drink. While you’re there, you’ll be able to chill even more as you listen to some live bluegrass. Somehow bluegrass seems to fit very well in a greenhouse, but you kind of need a blade of wheat in your mouth to really get the full effect. Tickets are $55 with all proceeds going directly to Guanin Ambulance Project that acts as a kind of mobile hospital for people who live in the Santo Domingo part of the Dominican Republic.Β
