You’ve been to their restaurants, you’ve tasted their food, so it’s about time that you got a chance to watch them cook live. Actually, cooking live is a bit of an understatement– we’re talking a full-on battle, Battle of the Chefs 2015 that is! On May 17 at Founders Hall you’ll watch Chef Silvia Bianco, private/corporate chef and cooking teacher, Chef Bernard Bouissou of the popular Bernard’s, and Chef Prasad Chirnomula of Thali (who is one of our faves and was also on Chopped) cook their hearts out in competition for the title. Which of these badass chefs will create the entrée of the night using a secret ingredient? Well, a panel of judges including food writer, Jane Stern, and Monica Brown of No. 109 Cheese and Wine, will pick the winner based on creativity, craftsmanship, and taste.
Attendees who purchase $100 general admission tickets get appetizers made by the chefs, which they get to vote on, an open bar, and a special round of desserts from each chef. Tickets for Battle of the Chefs help to raise vital funds for Founders Hall, an education and recreation center for people 60 years or older.
Want a shot at a free pair of tickets? Of course you do! All you need to do is reply to this post or our corresponding Facebook post with your prediction on which chef will win! The contest begins now and goes until May 1 at 3 pm when we’ll pick one random winner!
