6/14 Shebeen Brewing in Wolcott is releasing their Pineapple Wheat from 12-5. They’re also saying that they have a few other surprises up their sleeves . . . hmmm.

two roads logo6/26 Meet Brian Strumke from Stillwater Artisanal at Two Roads! He’ll be there in the tasting room from 5-9 and will be sampling his wares, too.

We recently broke the news to CT about the new growler laws, but there’s another law that we should be thankful for. Beer can be sold at farmers’ markets now. They have to be pre-packed and can’t be poured or can’t be drunk there. So, basically, you can buy cans, bottles, and growlers and take them home with you.

As we’ve shared previously, New England Brewing Company has been undergoing some cosmetic surgery. Well, it turns out that it’s more than cosmetic, as they are setting up a separate fill and sample station. In addition, get ready for even more beer as they install even more tanks.

Because demand for Sip of Sunshine has been so incredible here in CT, Lawson’s Finest Liquids have changed things up a bit. They’ll be releasing cans about every 3 weeks, but they can’t keep track of all of the places where you can find their beer anymore because it’s too much . . . at this point at least. They suggest you call up your local packie. We’d suggest that you just get down there because by the time you call then get there, it’ll be gone anyway.

Back East Brewery is in search of a head brewer. Are you the hop head for the job or do you know someone who’d be perfect?

I backed the Growlerwerks uKeg Kickstarter, and it will get to me this summer… I’ve been wondering how hard it’s going to be for me to get it filled here in SWCT…
