Priam Vineyards UnWINEd Concert Series 2015

One of the best things that you can do as a Nutmegger is tour our 25 wineries and vineyards on beautiful summer days. But, to top that off, is spending a chill night under the stars at Priam Vineyard in Colchester. You pick the summer Friday night that you want and come down to Priam for their UnWINEd Concert Series that goes from 6-9. Entry is $14 per person in advance or $16 at the door. You can also order $10 tickets for groups of 10 or more by e-mailing them or calling them at (860)267-8520 extension #3.

Now, which day(s) will you go? That’s the tough part:

July 3rd -The Village Jammers

July 10th – Dan Stevens

July 17th – Michael Cleary Band

July 24th – Shaka & The Soul Shakers

July 31st -The Hoolios

Aug 7th – Jenny & The Asbridge Brothers Jazz Band

Aug 14th – Vince Thompson & Friends

Aug 21st – Jim Brough Screaming

Once you’ve picked out the band(s) that you want to check out, you can start to plan out your food strategy. Please note that food is cash only.

Mystic Oyster Company will be at all concerts and will be shucking fresh oysters, sold by the 1/2 dozen. Does it get better than that people? Sure . . .

Jessica’s Lobster Shack will be on hand 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, and 8/7. When she’s there, you’ll get to nom away on hot buttered and cold lobster rolls, lobster mac & cheese, lobster bisque, clam chowder, and hot dogs.

And Bill’s Truckin’ Awesome Creative Comfort Food will be there on 7/3, 7/10, 8/14, and 8/21. He’ll be selling hot dogs and chili cheese dogs, mac & cheese, Mediterranean Chicken Pasta Salad, and Sweet Italian Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Marinara on an Italian Roll.

We stumbled across Jessica’s Lobster Shack on the way home from Priam last year. One of the best hot buttered lobster rolls I’ve ever had and one of the cheapest.

That’s awesome, David! We love great and cheap. Seems like an amazing incentive to visit the vineyard, huh?

Hope things are well . . . See ya on FB.
