7/10-11 The Riverfest Food Truck Festival‘s going down on Friday and Saturday from 11-10 with Happy Hour going down from 4-8. On hand will be more than two food trucks and restaurants who are ready to feed your need including Cheese Street Grille, Toasted, Streat Italiano, Maui Wowie, Bear’s Smokehouse, Mobile Mardi Gras, New Haven Pizza Truck, Four Flours Baking Company, and Ponce Pina Colada.
Vespa has started lunch service, Westport. Get in there to take a little trip to Italy over your break.
7/10 You’ll definitely want to stop by Jones Family Winery from 3-6 for Summer Wine Downs every Friday in July and August. In addition to some of their great wines, you’ll be able to buy fresh produce and snacks from their Harvest Kitchen. Families are welcome, too.
7/10-11 Stop by The Dock Shop in Darien to not only check out their store and lots of CT products but to also taste Deadly Grounds Coffee. After you get your fill of coffee and fill up your bags, check out the other things going on around town during the Side Walk Sales and Family Fun Days.
7/12 Check out the new Babaloo Cocina Latina in Georgetown for brunch and get your choice of a free Mimosa or Red/White Sangria.

The Buzz Truck is now offering cold brewed iced tea from Leaf & Ardor Tea Co on their truck. This is in addition to the Shearwater Organic Coffee Roasters that they already serve. That’s right: keep us caffeinated!

7/10-11 If you’re lucky, there might still be some Ramshackle Golden Mild and Penumbra Cream Ale left on tap at Firefly Hollow, but there will also be a cask beer ready for your consumption on Friday along with the music of The Blue Rubies who are playing from 6-8. 7/15 Hoodoo Brown BBQ in Ridgefield is having their first ever pint night. Just stop by during the night order a Two Roads beer that they are featuring on tap, then you get to keep the Two Roads pint when you’re done. As simple as that.

Stubborn Beauty is expanding . . . and that can only be a great thing as they’ll be able to supply more awesome brews across the state. Their updates will include not only a new brewhouse, but also four 15 bbl tanks.
Helping out has never been so great! All you need to do is buy a case of Oskar Blues beer here in CT and $1 will be donated to The CAN’d Aid Foundation which splits up the money raised to needy local charities.
