Win two tix to Hoptoberfest Craft Beer + Wing Festival 2015

28 Sep

SO many entrants, thank you all for entering and sharing your passion for wings. Unfortunately, there can be only one winner and that is Diane Soli. Congrats Diane. If you’d still like to go, there are still a bunch of tickets left. Buy them before the ticket prices go up.

Oh yeah, October 10 is just around the corner . . . time for hot wings and beer! And, this is exactly what you’ll get at the 3rd Annual Hoptoberfest at the Rotary Pavilion at the Shelton River Walk. The party starts at 1 and goes until 5. While you’re there, you’ll get taste wings from killer Valley restaurants like The Drew Drop Inn, Tavern 1757, 66 Church, Pies and Pints, Porky’s, Bricks and Barley, House of Bones, Draft House, and Barnone . . . and drink as much as you can with over 80 beers being poured.

Tickets are $30 before 10/4 and $45 afterwards (buy online or at Dew Drop Inn), but we have two tix to give away courtesy of the good folks at beerfests.com and Hoptoberfest. All you need to do to enter is comment here about what your favorite flavor chicken wing is. Are you into the classic Buffalo wing, mild, spicy, grilled, or are you into the wild flavors like Jerk Chicken or Peanut Butter and Jelly (available at Dew Drop Inn)?

The contest starts now and goes until 1 pm on Friday, October 2. At that time, we will pick a random winner who will snag those two tix. Check back here and our social media spots for the announcement.

Good luck!

Quality of Wing is more important than flavor, need that crunch! No soggy wings.
Flavor choices depends on mood… Plain Buffalo, Mango Habanero, or vinegar,Salt and Pepper are always favorites.

Look at you, Eric, all fancy with just calling them chicken wings. :P But, hey, that makes sense. I mean, you’re living there! I’m sure it’s like if you’re in Philly you don’t call it Philly Cheesesteaks, you just call them cheesesteaks.

    Honey Lime Chicken Wings

A tangy, sweet-but-tart honey-lime coating gives these wings a refreshingly zingy way to fly–right into your mouth! These wings are straightforward, sweet, and sour.”
