Ulltimate New Year’s Eve 2015 Planner for Fairfield County (Over 30 Listings)

New Year’s Eve comes but once a year, and that’s probably a good thing, cuz it’s about time you get all liquored up and let your freak flag fly! And, to help you do that, the enablers we are, we’ve put together the biggest and most ultimatest guide to NYE 2015 for Fairfield County. To help ya out, we’ve organized by town and city, too. As we find out more of our favorite spots here in FFLD, we’ll add them for ya so check back. 

Black Rock

TruNorth: It’s on starting at 5 and will go way into the night! Make sure to check back here for more info when it’s available. 

Walrus + Carpenter: In addition to their great menu, W+C will have live music starting at 7:30 from the Walrus All-Stars. 


Ibiza Tapas: You can order from their regular menu or check out specials like Pimentos del Piquillo, Merluza a la Plancha, Turron Chocolate y Almendras and more! Hours are 5-10:30 for the kitchen with the bar staying open until 1 am.


Center Street Public House: Like Tigin in Stamford, they’ll be celebrating Irish New Year at 7 and will have plenty of great drinks for the night! 



Barcelona: There will be a live DJ, dancing, their regular menu, and specials created by the chef just for NYE. Then, on NY Day there will be a nice brunch to help ease that hangover. 

Bodega: DJ Allen and Papipete will be spinning with no cover charge at all. 

Craft 260: Business as usual with their great gastropub filled dining and beer selection.


Barcelona: There will be a live DJ, dancing, their regular menu, and specials created by the chef just for NYE.

J House: For $300 per person you’ll get dinner and dancing, a room at the hotel, and a champagne brunch the next morning. To get your reservations, call them at (203) 698-6980 and be sure to mention OmNomCT.

Ristorante Firenze: Starting at 5:30, you’ll get the Chef’s Tasting Menu of 7 courses for $135 per person or you can order a la carte. Menu on their FB page.

Mill Street: It’s your choice to either take down a 3 course prix fixe menu for $75 or a 5 course food orgy for $115 per person. Each option includes a cocktail to start off the meal and a free glass of champagne that comes with dessert. Seatings are between 5-7 and 7:30-10:30.

The National: Chef Geoffrey Zakarian’s new hot spot will feature hors d’oeuvre, a three course menu, and a champagne toast at midnight for $125 per person. Seatings are at 9:15

New Canaan

Boulevard 18: They’ll be serving up a special 3 course prix fixe menu starting at 5:30. 

Elm will host two seatings on NYE. The first is two courses with a dessert for $125 and the second seating is 3 courses with dessert for $185 per person.

South End: You definitely want to come on down to South end. More info to come, but why not set up your reservations to lock your seats in? 

South End Uncorked: The kitchen opens at 11:30 and goes until 11 pm and the bar stays open from 11:30 am all the way until 2 pm. Come celebrate!


Barcelona: There will be a live DJ, dancing, their regular menu, and specials created by the chef just for NYE. 

Basso Cafe: Recent OmNomy winner for best Apps/Tapas will have a 4 course meal and will have plenty of wine and cocktails to go around, too. Each meal will also include a free glass of champagne and there will also be the PBJ Trio who will be playing music that night. 

Blind Rhino: There will be an open bar for $45 and drink specials at one of Norwalk’s newest restaurants! Also, there will be music from Tommy Two Times.

Match: Match will be offering a special menu as well as their regular menu! Get on this! 

Mediterraneo: There will be a NYE party that doesn’t stop at midnight here at Mediterraneo. They’ll have their regular menu along with some specials, so be sure to get your reservations at (203) 229-0000. And, if you get sloppy, you could always just crash right at the hotel! 

Oak + Almond: In addition to their regular menu, they will also have some specials too. 

The Spread: In addition to their regular menu, The Spread will be offering up specials and music from DJ Russell. Check them out for seatings at 5, 7, and 9. In addition, they’ll be open for NY dinner at 4:30 with Happy Hour going until 7. Make sure to reserve your spot. 

Strada 18: There will be a special 4 course meal available for $75 per person or you can also add in a wine pairing for each course for $35 more. You can also order the specials a la carte or pick from their regular menu. 

Valencia: TBD


Georgetown Saloon: There will be a special musical guest to help ring in the new year! Be sure to come by for the music, specials, and ice-cold champagne! You can get a 3 course dinner for $50 (before 12/24) and/or the Bar Package for $20. Both include a champagne toast and party favors. 


Bailey’s Backyard: In addition to their regular menu, Bailey’s will have specials to order a la carte. This is your chance to try out their new winter menu, too.

Bareburger: It’s going down with their regular menu from 11:30-8 along with a New Year brunch from 12-3 on the following day . . . IF you can get up that early after a night of drinking.

Bernard’s: At 6 pm there will be a 3 course menu along with live piano playing for $95 per person or at 9 pm you’ll get a 4 course menu along with a champagne toast and midnight dancing with The Maria Tiscia Quartet for $165 per person. 

Sarah’s Wine Bar: They’ll be serving up their regular menu and will be taking reservations, so lock those in! 


Artisan: Dinner seatings are from 8:30-10 with a 5 course menu, a midnight champagne toast, a live band, and dancing. You can also kick it up a few notches with a room at the Delamar and even order in with a box of truffles and a bottle of champagne. 


Bar BQ/McFadden’s: Tickets start at $85 and that includes entrance to both Stamford spots, a 4 hour top shelf open bar from 8-midnight, a dinner buffet from 8-10, and a champagne toast once the ball drops. Tix here.

Bar Rosso: They’ll be open from 4-3 with a DJ spinning all night long. After 9, there will be a $20 cover that includes a complimentary midnight toast. To get your spot call them at (203) 388-8640.

Barcelona: There will be a live DJ, dancing, their regular menu, and specials created by the chef just for NYE. Then, on NY Day there will be a nice brunch to help ease that hangover. 

Coalhouse Pizza: Not only will Coalhouse have brunch on NYE and NY day, but they are going to have a crazy 30 Dogfish Heads brews on tap. Oh, the list is sooooo ridiculous. Definitely try the vintage 120 Minutes and Fort. Then, go from there! For NYE itself, chow down on their buffet for $45 or buffet and open bar for $90. In addition, you’ll want to check out their amazing selection of Johnnie Walker that they’ll have available for tasting. Make your reservations by calling them at (203) 977-7700.

Del Frisco’s Grille: Meat Up and Drink Up! They’ll have their full menu available but will also have a 16 oz. dry aged prime rib with hand-mashed potatoes for $42. Check out more and get your reservations here.

Eos: They’ll be serving up a 4 course prix fixe for $75 from 8-close that also includes a champagne toast and DJ Eddie Casanova. Menu here, but don’t forget to get reservations by calling (203) 569-6250.

The Fez: It’s a NYE Masquerade Bash with an early seating at 5 that includes a glass of champagne and a 4 course meal for $70. There is also a seating starting at 9 with 6 courses that includes champagne pairings and a midnight toast. There will also be live music from Harry Ellis and The Deep Intentions! Make sure to get your reservations and check out the menu here.

Napa & Co: There will be a Winter Fairytale with their full dinner menu along with a special 4 course menu that you can order with or without wine pairings. But, seriously, why without? :) They will also have a New Year’s brunch from 11:30-2:30 and dinner from 5:30-9:30. 

Paloma: 4 course chef’s tasting menu for $95 per person plus tax and tip includes a welcome cocktail and a champagne toast, too. Get your reservations by calling them at (203) 998-7500.

Tigin: Happy Fecking New Year, people. There’s no cover at all with The Last Hoorah playing, party favors, an Irish toast at 7 and a champagne toast at midnight. 

Villa Italia: There will be dinner, there will be dancing, and it all starts at 9 with very limited seatings. While you’re there, you’ll have a 4 course dinner, live music, dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight. Also, you can get a special rate of $129 at the nearby Hampton Inn. Call them at (203) 348.7742 for reservations. 


Parallel Post: PP does NYE with four courses for just $45 per person plus tax and tip. That’s a nice deal, no doubt. Seatings are from 5-midnight.


Kawa Ni: They open the doors of this fine restaurant from noon until the party stops . . . and at Kawa Ni it never ends! Plus, they’ll be open for New Year’s Brunch from 12-3 and will hold regular hours from 12-10 pm. 

Vespa: They’ll have their regular menu, chef specials, a DJ, and even fireworks. They strongly suggest you make reservations.

The Whelk: They’ll be open from noon until close and will also be open on New Years Day for brunch from 12-3 or for their regular menu from 12-10 pm. 


Babaloo Cocina Latina: For $75 a couple, you’ll get a 4 course meal and a bottle of wine. Dinner features their shrimp special, Palomitas Salad, slow braised lamb shank, and churros. To make your reservation call them at (203) 587-1287.

Schoolhouse at Cannondale: Come by for dinner either at 6 or 8 and be treated to a 4 course dinner. Tickets are $95 per person, tax and tip extra. Get your reservations by calling them at (203) 834-9816
