We hope that you’ll be able to come by and check out the Stamford Supper Club for their first meeting, discussion, and supper. The SSC meets this Wednesday from 6-9 at Saint Andrew’s Church in Stamford, located at 1231 Washington Boulevard. There is no charge at all to come by for the SSC, either, but you are more than welcome to help prep, cook, clean, or help serve the dishes starting at 6. Dinner and conversation start at 7:15.
So, let’s talk here. The Stamford Supper Club will feature a new topic every time and the focus of the first session is all about misconceptions about Muslims here and abroad. The discussion will be led by Azra Assaduddin of the Al-Madany Islamic Center in Norwalk.
While we all talk and engage in real, meaningful conversation, we’ll be enjoying this menu:
→ Homemade Bruschetta with tomatoes, garlic, and basil,
→ Carlos’ Mom’s Famous Quinoa Salad, and Butternut Squash Lasagna (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options).
→ Light dessert (feel free to bring your own, too!)
Make sure to like the Stamford Supper Club on Facebook and to RSVP to this event so the organizers know how much food to order and make.
