If there’s one event that you shouldn’t miss as a beer, wine, and food enthusiast, it’s this one: The Taste of Black Rock 2016! It’s always a bangin’ time with lots of great food and drink shared with great people, but this year’s gonna be even more killer. That’s because Harry’s has kicked it up a few more notches with some exclusive tastings of CT’s newest breweries and, in one case, cideries! But, more on that in a sec.
Taste of Black Rock hits the Burrough Community Center from 7:30-10 on 2/20. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door. That $35 will get you drink samples and food samples from local Black Rock restaurants. There will be live music from Joe Kiernan and you also have a shot at winning some great raffle prizes.
Now, onto some exclusive info on the drinks:
- CT’s newest breweries will be rep’d! We’re talking about the brand new Aspetuck Brew Lab that’s right down the road, Fairfield Craft Ales opening in Stratford, Lock City Brewing in Stamford (pouring their Double Noggin Knocker DIPA), No Worries Brewing who just opened in Hamden, and more to be released.
- A hot, hot cidery that’s been making waves: New England Ciders.
- Two tables of wines that have been carefully picked by one of Harry’s owners, William Miller.
When we get more info on the restaurants, we’ll let you know, but based on drinks alone this is the event to be at. :)
