2/2 Mediterraneo of Norwalk hosts wine appreciation night every Tuesday . . . and if you’re an oenophile, you’ll wanna be a part of this. 50% off bottles under $100 or 25% off of bottles over $100.
2/2 Stop by Joey B’s in Greenwich from 3-8 for a special fundraiser. 20% of all proceeds will be donated to YNET, a combo Greenwich High School and YWCA club that helps to reduce teenage dating violence.
2/4 Lombardi’s Trattoria in Redding is hosting their Grand Bar Reopening from 4-7 with a Happy Hour party. Check out their Piattini menu (small plates), beer and cocktail specials, and half off drinks. And, to celebrate, they’ll have small plates items for free during this time.
Locally made Brown Dog Fancy mustard is now available at Fairfield Cheese Company.

Donut Crazy has another new donut to try: The Doughboy. It’s a glazed donut filled up with cookie dough (eggless), then half of it is dipped in milk chocolate, then it’s topped with even more cookie dough. DOH!
Winfield Street Italian Deli in Norwalk is looking to make your mornings even better (or just better, hey, we know they generally suck) with fresh breakfast sandwiches and some killer, deli-made scones.
The National in Greenwich by Geoffery Zakarian is now serving lunch and brunch. Lunch is served M-Sa from 11:30-3 with linner be served daily from 3-5. Also, brunch it out on Sunday from 10-3.
TerraSole Ristorante in Ridgefield has a new 2 course lunch for just $22 . . . plus, you get a glass of wine! Not too shabby!
Fairfield Local has started a $10 “Lunchbox Tasting Menu” that has 1 small plate, a salad, and a bowl of soup. This deal is available M-F from 11:30-3.
Bar Sugo introduced their new Happy Hour this week! It goes M-F, 4-6 and includes 1/2 priced cocktails, beer, wine, cichetti, AND pizza. Damn good deal, son.
They’re in a new spot now (222 Post Road in Fairfield), but The Black Rock Castle lives on through The Castle on Post: Food & Spirits. Stop by, they’re ready for ya and open for business.
Fortina, newly expanded into Stamford, will be opening up a full-serve, 130 seat restaurant in Dekalb Market in Downtown Brooklyn. Here’s more info.
