One of our favorite new restaurants in Fairfield County comes from the creative mind of Chef Geoff Lazlo: Mill Street Bar & Table. It’s located just a short hop skip and a jump away from where we’re living and is nestled close by the Greenwich/PoCho border. And, it’s no stranger to anyone who’s been reading our blog, as we’ve given it an exclusive preview before opening, a full-out pigged-out review, and named it Best Burger and Best New American in the 2015 OmNomy Awards.
Well, we’re excited to share that Chef Lazlo and crew have put together an excellent paired dinner that features the wildly popular beer from Founders Brewing. The dinner is June 9, starts at 7, and costs $72 with tax and tip included. If you’d like a spot at the table, call them up at (203) 813-3323 and let them know we sent you. If you need more than 3 full pours, they’ll be offering up 50% off all Founders beer for the rest of the night, too. ;)
Just look at this menu:
1st Course
Crispy Duck Ribs (we LOVED these, btw)
Paired with Mosaic Promise Single Hop IPA
2nd Course
The Mill Street Burger. Check this from our review: “The burger itself was served a beautiful medium rare and was served with a housemade mustard, a light aioli, and cheddar, all served on a fluffy potato brioche bun. Each bite was a juicy burst of fresh flavor, definitely something we would order again and recommend if you love your patties.”
Paired with Kentucky Breakfast Stout aka KBS
3rd Course
Rhubarb Shortcake
Paired with Blushing Monk Raspberry Sour Ale
Mill Street Bar + Table
