Whole Foods Greenwich to Kick Off Grand Re-Opening Week w/ Giveaways, Tastings + Community Events

9 Sep

Whole Foods Market in Greenwich is hosting a weeklong party full of food, giveaways and more to celebrate their grand re-opening! That’s 7,000 square feet of additional space . . . pretty cool. What’s been added into all that extra room? There’s a pizza station, a hot and salad bar open all day, a coffee and juice bar, cookie bar, bigger selection of breads including Norwalk’s own Wave Hill Bread, expanded selection of items on the shelves including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, a ridiculously amazing olive bar, and a speedier checkout experience with four express registers.

The grand re-opening celebration starts this Monday, September 12, with tastings and promotions from 11-2 all week long. In addition, you can enter to win a $500 gift card that will be donated to the charity that’s nearest and dearest to your heart. Plus, Whole Foods Greenwich will be giving back even more to the community on Thursday with a Community Giving Day. Just buy anything from the store and 5% of what you purchase will go directly to the Bruce Museum.

Plus, there are some other great things happening that you’ll want to check out:

  • Monday, Sept. 12 @3pm-7pm: Bogavia Spa Event – Join us for complimentary Petite Fall Detox Facials with Alison Ragusa, creator of Bogavia.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 13 @6pm-7:30pm: Cheese Night – Learn about Alpine cheeses from our expert cheesemonger and enjoy a variety of samples to inspire your next cheese platter.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 14 @12pm: Cake Cutting – Celebrate the new and improved store with a slice of delicious cake, baked fresh in-house.
