It’s contest time, OmNomivores, and boy do we have a great one for you: three pairs of tickets to Food for All 2017: An Evening to End Hunger! This historically awesome event lets you check out some of Fairfield County’s newest and best food and drink from Fairfield County’s newest and best chefs and mixologists (or whatever the “it” term is these days for a person that makes kickass cocktails) all while helping to fulfill Food Rescue US‘s vital mission of ridding our county and country of hunger. What’s not to love about that? Read on for more details and how to win:

So there will be three winners getting a pair of tickets . . . but who you take is not up to us. ;) Just tag the friend you want to take in the comments section of our linked Facebook and/or Instagram post and we’ll choose the three winners at random on Friday, 4/14 at 5 pm.

We’ll get in touch with the winners and you’ll just simply head on down to The Loading Dock in Stamford on Wednesday, April 6 from 6:30-9 to partake. Dress is typically business casual.

Not a winner? Don’t fret, you can still partake by buying tix here for $100 a pop. Ticket sales from the night as well as donations go directly to Food Rescue US. Just to put it in perspective, a $1 donation equals 20 rescued meals, so imagine how much you’d be helping out by going and/or giving a little more at the event.

If you’re not familiar at all with Food Rescue US, here’s the basic deal: through a network of food runners and volunteers, they are able to collect and redistribute food that would normally go to waste or get thrown away. Right now, they are active in four different areas of Connecticut, DC, Ohio, Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
