1/15 Firefly Hollow is doing a Cone Flakes release! $10 gets you a 4 pack with a limit of 1 case per person. That’s a stellar deal and so worth the trip.

More Halloween 

10/31 Muahahaha! It’s Halloween in the Park at Mill River Park in Stamford. There will be food trucks, a place to buy beer, cornhole, and a costume party. Tickets at the door are $10 at the door and the event goes from 3-7. More info here.

10/31 Go blind on Saturday at SoNo’s newest restaurant: The Blind Rhino. Starting at 9 they will have new specials every hour for you to partake in. Continue reading

Normally we have a top-heavy list of events, followed by food to try and news, then plenty of CT beer news and releases, but this week it’s a bit different. There are a TON of dishes and drinks that we think you need to get out there and try. So, um, get out there and try! 10/8 Meat us at The Meat Truck at Premier Subaru in Branford from 11:30-1:30 and then Two Roads from 3:30-8.

10/10 Guten grog, Part Deux at Cottrell Oktoberfest from 3-6 right at Cottrell Brewery in Pawcatuck. $5 gets you in the door and, from there, you buy the beer and you buy the brats.

CT Food News: Lobster Rolls, Fairs, New Spots, Deals + #CTBeer Schtuff – 9/18/15

Ladies and gents, we’re just about to wrap up the last full week of summer 2015, but there’s no reason to be sad. Turn that frown upside down because the weather’s been beautiful and there’s still so much to do. So, let’s take Fairfield County and the rest of the state by storm and hit up all these great events, drink all of this great beer, and try out all this killer food. Also, remember we had a ton of events listed from last week’s post that are going down this weekend! 

9/18-19 Boothbay Lobster Company food truck will be making the rounds in Stamford, so check out their lobster rolls. Today they’ll be outside of the Sign of the Whale from 4-10 and on Saturday they will be there from 5-11. Continue reading
