Today starts the 2016 Greater Orange Restaurant Week . . . and you’ll definitely want to be a part of the action. Not only are 24 restaurants from Orange, Milford, West Haven, and Woodbridge involved, but you’ll also great prix fixe deals for lunch or dinner. But, hey, why stop there? How about taking home some great prizes and gift cards . . . over $2,000 is up for grabs! We’ve included the directions at the end of this post for you. And, because a meal isn’t a meal without a nice beverage, there will drink specials at each spot.

Vive la France! Bistro Versailles in Greenwich Celebrates Bastille Day w/ 4 Course Meal

Today, on Bastille Day, we celebrate with France the beginning of the French Revolution that would unite the country with one focus. And, while France is pretty far away, it’s lucky for us that we’ve got some great French spots around here in Fairfield County. One of them is Bistro Versailles which we reviewed a few months back . . . and they’ve got a great deal.

3/5-3/16 There’s still plenty of more time to check out the prix fixe deals and specials at local Stamford businesses with Stamford Downtown Restaurant Weeks.

3/7 Check out the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Stamford, starting at noon. The parade begins on Main and Sumer, then goes fast to Atlantic, then follows Broad Street onto Bedford, stopping at Walton Place. Be aware that roads will start to close at 11:30 or earlier, so if you want part of the fun, head on down early. For ideas, check out this.

Rizzuto’s in Bethel Celebrates 10 Years w/ Prix Fixe Deals from 1/25-2/21

In December of 2004, Bill Rizzuto started Rizzuto’s in Bethel. The menu featured good, classic Italian dishes paired with brick oven pies fresh out of the oven. As the success for the Bethel restaurant grew, Bill expanded Rizzuto’s into West Hartford, Westport, and Stamford. With expansion also came evolution, as they began to focus more on small plates, drink selection, and new concepts like recently adding more of a sports vibe to their Stamford spot.

To celebrate their continued success, Bill and everybody at Rizzuto’s Bethel will be offering up deals from 1/25-2/21 (not including Valentine’s Day). Lunch will cost you just $10 ($1 for every year) and dinner will set you back only $20.04 (2004, get it?)

Rizzuto’s Bethel is located at 6 Stony Hill Road.
