Funk Fest ft. Rare + Funky Brews w/ Charcuterie Pairings to Benefit Hole in the Wall Gang

Jeff Roberts, the man behind the burgeoning Facebook group (over 300 members) Craft Beer Enthusiast Union, has organized a beer event to satisfy all the beer geeks out there: Funk Fest 2015. Jeff joked around, saying that you don’t want to be the person who is looking at Untappd checkins and feel all left out. So, instead, go treat yo’self and get down to The Outer Space in Hamden on 11/22 at 3 PM for a benefit to go down in the history books for The Hole in the Wall Gang. Nor'Yeaster Event Two Roads

Two Roads Brewing in Stratford will release a new series of beers on April 19 that are exclusive to only the brewery.  Yes, that means you’ll have to visit and, gosh darn it, when you’re there, guess you’ll have to drink them and the other brews that are on tap.  Oh darn! :P  Here are the three beers being released at the Spring Nor’yeaster event:

  1. Henry’s Farm Barrel Aged, a Double Bock Lager Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels
  2. Krazy Pucker, a Berlinerweiss Style Beer that Is Brewed to Be Sour
  3. Urban Funk, a “Wild” Ale that Was Made from Local Yeast Gathered during Superstorm Sandy
