Whether you’re going with that hot new date of yours, someone you’ve been seeing for a year, someone you’ve been together with for 20 years, or if you’re going in on it with some friends, you’ll want to hit up In Love & Chocolate. Studies have shown that chocolate can help you lose weight and actually keep your heart healthy.  So, look dastardly dentist dad of Willy Wonka and all of his ilk…sweets won’t kill you.  No, let us bravely move forward, embracing chocolate and sweets in all their beautiful forms.  Yeah, whether we talk about chocolate covered bacon, chocolate covered pickles (!?), rum cakes, chocolate flavored coffee, chocolate dipped waffles, or even jellies, we need to remember that we’re feeding our hearts and souls.  So, come and feed your inner child at the Chocolate World Expo on Sunday, 1/27 from 10 am to 7 pm at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk.  Tickets are just $15 for adults or $10 for kids (ages 2-12) and that INCLUDES admission to all Maritime Aquarium exhibits.  If you’re a member of the aquarium, you’ll also save $2 per ticket!
What will you get for that sweet (we made a funny, haha) price?  Check out the details from their site:
At Chocolate World Expo Connecticut, approximately 35 local and regional vendors will offer tastings & sales of their delicious and decadent products that include chocolates, baked goods, gelato, specialty foods and food-related gift items.  Vendors will be set up in Newman’s Own Hall (near the seals) and throughout the Aquarium’s galleries, which will be fully open that day – at no extra cost to visitors – making this special event an especially outstanding value for attendees!

Participating vendors include 5th Avenue Chocolatiere, Auntie El’s, Bacon Bites, Barbara’s Butter Crunch, Bella’s Home Baked Goods, Breezie Maples Farm, Chocopologie Café, Fretzels by Jill, Goodway Bakery, JD Gourmet, Kathie’s Kitchen, Knipschildt Chocolatier, Le Rouge – Handmade Chocolates by Aarti, Moon Doggie Coffee Roasters, Peanut Principle, Puckers Gourmet, Rescue Chocolate, Screme Gelato, Xocai Healthy Chocolates, Yona’s Gourmet and more.
