Craft 260 will be celebrating a year of making good food and serving killer beer on 2/16, starting at 6:30. Well, guess they are just overachievers because they put together a birthday dinner that features more beers than courses. Yeah, that’s pretty awesome. 7 brews from Two Roads, 5 courses to be paired with the Stratford-made beer.

Igor Day at Two Roads Brewery is 1/24 with 3 Igor’s Dreams Including Madeira and Cognac Aged Stouts
15 JanFor the third year in a row, Two Roads Brewery in Stratford will host Igor Day. This is a holy day for beer lovers here in CT (and beyond now) when Two Roads releases one of their most popular beers, Igor’s Dream. The beer, an Unorthodox Russian Imperial Stout, is in honor of Igor Sikorsky who helped to modernize air travel, has an airport named after him, and whose company is still making state-of-the-art helicopters. Think of it as Two Roads way of paying homage to not only the man, but also their roots to the community of Stratford.

Two Roads Brewery Makes National List of Best New Beers in 2014
7 JanIt’s the beer from Stratford-based Two Roads that had a festival named after it: Road Jam! This seasonal brew became a popular choice of people ready to chill throughout CT and the surrounding states when it was released in 2014. Red in color, a bit jammy in taste, and refreshing all over, their raspberry wheat ale just screams summer drinking. Well, guess people have really been noticing because Two Roads was one of 13 breweries that were given the status of having one of the Best New Beers of 2014 by First We Feast.
Phil Markowski Talks Kriek, Gueuze, Philsamic, Unorthodox + Roadsmary’s “Other” Baby at Two Roads Sourcopia Dinner w/ Chef Plum
22 OctIf there’s something that we’ve learned about Two Roads, it’s that when Two Roads does something, they always do it big…and they do it right. Case in point: last night’s Sourcopia paired beer dinner from Chef Plum and the Plum Luv Foods crew. There were five courses of food dreamed up by Chef Plum that he paired with new Two Roads beer, including their three new sours that everybody in attendance got first tastes of. There was Kriek, Gueuze, Philsamic, and two other brews including the soon-to-be year round Unorthodox and a delicious Roadsmary’s “Other” Baby.

And this year there is going to be a special release party with food trucks on 10/25 from 12-9 at the brewery where you can get to try and take home two lambic beers (Kriek and Gueuze) as well as the highly-anticipated Philsamic. Beer can be purchased by bottle (max of 2 per style) and will be on tap at the brewery while supplies last. Here are some descriptions from their site along with pricing:
