OmNomCT is hittin’ the road . . . in a good way!

Oh heyyyyy OmNomivores! We have some super exciting news to share with you. Well, at least we think so, and we hope you do too!   

Remember back in late 2017, after our “we need to lose weight” hiatus, when we were all like, yeah, we’re gonna come back and just do blog posts on our “treat days” when we take a break from our healthy lifestyles? And then we did like 3 posts, and POOF, we were gone again?  Yeeeahh . . . first, please know that it was COMPLETELY our intention to do just that, but we no sooner realized a slight problem in our plan . . .  our treat days were usually taking place on weekend trips or vacations, when we traveled out of Fairfield County. Whoopsie! On the positive side, we found ourselves really enjoying sharing our food experiences from our trips on Instagram and wondered if that enjoyment could become something more. Then, with that curiosity, we began to think, brainstorm, work, and plan, and we’re ready to share! 

 

So, without further ado, we’d like to introduce you to our new endeavor, an endeavor that is dedicated to giving you the same honest, enthusiastic food and drink pics, news, reviews and more that we’ve always brought you, with the same fun and goofy attitudes, but instead of from Fairfield County, it will be from our travels near (as near as our own state) and far (as far as across the globe).

We’re really excited about this new approach because it will allow us to share our experiences as the OmNomivores you’ve come to know and love, at the times when we’re our truly gluttonous selves, with no apologies, no inhibitions, no holds barred. And, as usual, we’ll be sharing pics, stories, and of course, our perspective on the best food & drink this awesome planet has to offer, from the seediest dives to the fanciest schmanciest restaurants, from hidden speakeasies to crowded pubs, from food trucks to donut shops, and all the breweries, wineries, and distilleries in between! 

And, with this new approach comes a new name. . . OmNom on the Road, and a new logo and look, a new website, and most importantly, a new enthusiasm and commitment! We’d love for you to come join us at our new website, OmNomOTR.com. We even pre-populated it for you with round up posts from some of our 2018 travel. 

 

We’ll also be using social, specifically Instagram, more frequently to capture more “in the moment” content, so be sure to follow us at the links on our blog. If you’re already following OmNomCT you don’t need to do anything more, since in the next couple of days we will be switching those accounts over to this new name. We hope you will continue to follow us there and share it with even more friends and family! 

 

So, with that, we’d LOVE if all of you will come along “On the Road” with us and hope you’ll enjoy the journey as much as we’ll enjoy sharing it, as your loyalty and support since we first launched this baby in 2010 has meant the WORLD to us!
