24 Restaurants Take Part in 2016 Orange Restaurant Week

An entire week devoted to deals on food at some great spots! Read on for more details including how to win big . . .

Today starts the 2016 Greater Orange Restaurant Week . . . and you’ll definitely want to be a part of the action. Not only are 24 restaurants from Orange, Milford, West Haven, and Woodbridge involved, but you’ll also great prix fixe deals for lunch or dinner. But, hey, why stop there? How about taking home some great prizes and gift cards . . . over $2,000 is up for grabs! We’ve included the directions at the end of this post for you. And, because a meal isn’t a meal without a nice beverage, there will drink specials at each spot.

Rizzuto’s in Bethel Celebrates 10 Years w/ Prix Fixe Deals from 1/25-2/21

In December of 2004, Bill Rizzuto started Rizzuto’s in Bethel. The menu featured good, classic Italian dishes paired with brick oven pies fresh out of the oven. As the success for the Bethel restaurant grew, Bill expanded Rizzuto’s into West Hartford, Westport, and Stamford. With expansion also came evolution, as they began to focus more on small plates, drink selection, and new concepts like recently adding more of a sports vibe to their Stamford spot.

To celebrate their continued success, Bill and everybody at Rizzuto’s Bethel will be offering up deals from 1/25-2/21 (not including Valentine’s Day). Lunch will cost you just $10 ($1 for every year) and dinner will set you back only $20.04 (2004, get it?)

The first ever Greenwich Restaurant Week is ready to launch November 13-19, but in typical Greenwich fashion it’s way more than deals on meals. SoNo Restaurant Week is back from June 8-13 and this year, there’s some fresh meat (literally and metaphorically speaking) as well as some of your favorite spots to check out.  First, let’s go through the new spots like Quartino Trattoria Vineria which has taken over where Bacchus used to be, Johnny Utah’s which has taken over Black Bear and is putting a lil’ bit a country into SoNo, Sweet Lucy Lynn’s which was John Dough’s and Archie Moore’s, and Local Kitchen & Beer Bar (30 brews on tap) which is a reboot of NOLA and a sister restaurant to the Fairfield location.

1st Annual Stratford Restaurant Week Features 31Restaurants to Celebrate 375 Years!

In honor of Stratford’s 375th anniversary, the Stratford Chamber of Commerce and Stratford Economic Development Department present the 1st Annual Stratford Restaurant Week.  Come by Stratford from April 6-12 for some great meal deals that aren’t very complicated or confusing at all:  $16.39 per person or $37.50 per couple.  No price levels, no complications.  You’ll get an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert.  Thanks to Food Dudes for the tip.

Deals on Meals: 2014 Wilton Restaurant Week Features 19 Spots

Here we go, OmNomivores…it’s just about time for the 2nd Annual Wilton Restaurant Week!  19 restaurants all vying for your attention with deals on prix fixe meals from March 10 through March 16.  Not too shabby of a selection, huh?  From Italian, to Modern American, to Southwestern, to Mexican, to French, and to even the sweeter side of things, Wilton Restaurant Week’s gotcha covered.

Bethel Restaurant Week 2014 features 24 restaurants with lots of great deals

Clear your calendars for the third installment of Bethel Restaurant Week, this year running from February 23 through March 1.  Like other restaurant weeks, you’ll be served a three course lunch or dinner at set price decided by the restaurant, but this one’s a bit different.  You’ll actually be able to get breakfast at some of these places, that’s an option that’s not usually offered, and there are lots of deals like BOGOs and discounts.   And, another exciting thing for us about Bethel Restaurant Week is the amazing selection of places that our friends and readers have told us about that we need to try STAT.  So, here’s a nice little guide for you.
