Cheeseboy, grilled cheese to go, heats up Darien with two locations: now driving sucks a little less…

24 May

Back in February of 2012, we told you about Cheeseboy opening up at the Milford service area off of I-95 and people rejoiced.  What?  Grilled cheese, fast and easy, stuffed the way you like it, slathered up and grilled to perfection?  Yes, how could you not be excited when stopping in for a quick bite from a long trip?  Or maybe you just got tired of your annoying commute and just wanted to reward yourself?  Either way, people were excited at the prospect of not getting the same ol’ boring rest stop food.  Well kiddos, things are about to get a bit buttery-er and a lil’ more melty…Cheeseboy is opening up not one but two locations in Darien.  Their new restaurants will be at the northbound and southbound service plazas of I-95.

Cheeseboy grilled cheese shops can be found all over the Northeast with spots in Boston, Providence, Braintree, Jersey City, Natick, and West Nyack.  And, when you go to visit, you’ll be greatly humbled by their yummy grilled cheese options:

This article gave me a quick laugh! We operate a limousine company in Connecticut and a copule of months ago, we had an odd request while taking a family back from JFK Airport to Groton. They were flying in from London, and SPECIFICALLY asked that we stop at the milford rest area so that they could have a few sandwiches from Cheesyboy!! LOL we ofcourse took care of that and they treated our chauffeur to a sandwich. This later on became a very popular spot for our employees to grab food from if they have any trips heading towards that part of northern fairfield county. Such a great place and really is different from the regular rest area food and restaurants. Great move.. we’ll definitely keep in mind the Darien locations. Thanks for the info!!

Yeah, that’s odd, but, actually…it’s AWESOME. That’s our kind of people! :P We’re so glad to help feed your grilled cheese addiction. Keep up the good work keeping people safe and driving us around CT!
