6th Annual Food + Wine Tasting ft. Stamford restaurants + world wines @ The Italian Center of Stamford

Do you know what makes the work week so much better? Not going in? Yeah, that’s true, but another great thing is when you get to look forward to some food and drinks at the end of it all. Sometimes that’s all that gets us through some of those tough days. But, hey, that’s where the 6th Annual Food & Wine Tasting from The North Stamford Exchange Club comes in. They are hosting another great event from 7-10 this Friday, 11/6 at The Italian Center of Stamford. Tickets are $50 each, 4 for $190, or 6 for $270 and can be bought by email, by calling Wilmot at (203) 667-1202, going to Giovana’s Wines & Spirits (1492 High Ridge Road), or purchasing them at the door.

You’ll have tastes of wine from all the world’s important wine regions provided by Giovana’s Wines & Spirits as well as some nomworthy food from some great Stamford spots. We’re talking about Bridge Street Wienery, Capriccio Cafe, David’s Soundview Catering, LaRocca’s Country Market, Quattro Pazzi, Sunny & Frankies, Vinny’s Backyard, Dash N Drizzle and DiMare Bakery. In addition, there will be a silent auction, raffles, and a 50/50 giveaway where you can win half of the money pot. All money raised will go to The North Stamford Exchange Club Community Fund which helps support youth and community activities such as their parenting skills center, ARI, Stamford Youth Foundation, local fire departments, Stamford Historical Society, and Shelter for the Homeless.
