Bacon Week Set to Sizzle at Plan B Burger Bar in Milford

If there’s something that we’ve figured out about Plan B, and specifically Plan B Milford, when they set their minds on something, they destroy it.  Like, seriously…they kill it.  Case in point:  The Third Annual Bacon Week at Plan B Milford.  Want a bucket of bacon?  Done!  Want to eat a “healthy” Swine salad, bacon candy bars, or bacon candy apples?  Done, done, done! Want to add bacon to anything on the menu?  Done!   Even more killer?  They’ve infused bacon into their mixed drinks, too!  So, without further delay (we know you’re probably sitting in a puddle of drool now), here’s the menu along with the cocktails that you’ll get to devour September 15-21:

Noms

Bucket of Bacon $9.99:  Bacon the way it is intended to be devoured, a bucket of thick cut Apple wood smoked bacon with three house made dipping sauces. Chili con queso, BBQ Blue cheese and B.L.T.

Bound Piglets $9.99:  Mini pork hot dogs stuffed with cheddar cheese blend, wrapped in corn cob smoked bacon, slow roasted with bacon Dijon sauce and bacon hot sauce on a bed of local apple bacon slaw

BBQ Bacon Mac n Cheese $18.99:  Organic pasta tossed with BBQ Pecan smoked bacon and green onions in a bacon three cheese sauce with toasted herbed crumb topping and two bacon spoons

Have your anything “in the bacon” $5.99: Six Planks of Apple wood smoked bacon added to anything

Swine Salad $14.99: Chopped hearts of romaine tossed in a bacon Bourbon Vinaigrette with crumbled Blue cheese, local apples, bacon croutons, diced red onions and grapes, topped with honey glazed Berkshire pork belly

Hog Tied Burger $15.99: Half natural beef half apple cider brined ground bacon topped with a local maple mustard aioli, baby arugula, pickled red onions and house made bacon jam served on a toasted bun

Bacon Candy Bar Trio $10.99:  House made classic candy bars made better with bacon… “Bacon Kit Kat” “Bacon Snickers Bar” Toffee chocolate bacon bar

Local Caramel Apple $7.59: Local apples with Bourbon caramel, caramelized bacon and whipped Griffin Farm salted caramel goat cheese

Drinks

The Fizzy Piggy $10:  Basil Hayden, simple syrup, OJ, a brown sugar rim, and bacon garnish.

Last Minute Manhattan $11:  Jim Beam Black, maple syrup, pepper molasses simple syrup, bacon brown sugar simple syrup, crushed bacon rim.

Bavarian Maid $10: Knobb Creek, chocolate mole bitters, half rim with caramel sauce, other half rim with black and pink sea salts.
