Two Terrific Tryptophan-tastic Thanksgiving Pizzas to Be Thankful for in CT

18 Nov

Do you know what we’re thankful for? Pizza that isn’t just plain ol’ Neapolitan! Yeah, we always tend to get sausage, pepper, and onions, but how damn boring would life be without variety in our pies? Correct: it would suck. Life would suck. Who wants a sucky life? No, we don’t. We want pizza in all its heavenly forms.

Now, we’ve got to tell you about two pies that you’ve probably never experienced before.

The first is from Joe’s Pizza in New Canaan, located at 23 Locust Ave. Trust us, you’ll be swarming over there when you try this Thanksgiving Pie that features turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn bread stuffing (walnuts, corn, cranberry), and some mooz. Get it while the getting’s good, up until Thanksgiving!

The second pie is from BAR in New Haven, home to the famous bacon mashed potato pie. This seasonal pie is called The Gobbler and features turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce.

Damn, we’re hungry now. We so need BOTH of those pies. How about you? Do you know any other place here in CT that features a Thanksgiving-inspired pie? Let us know!

    Of course I’m going to comment… :)

One Bro did a thanksgiving pie yesterday at the Giants game…stuffing, mashed potatoes, sausage, and tomato sauce. It went over really well!

Never seen it at a brick and mortar, although perhaps that will change after this post.
