Thrice Baked: DiMare Pastry Shop Opening in Downtown Stamford

6 Feb

DiMare Pastry Shop, home of the ever-famous and supremely-delicious Cannoli Dip, is setting up shop in downtown Stamford soon. Like their other two locations in Stamford and Greenwich, they’ll be serving up cakes, pies, breads, nearly every kind of Italian pastry that you could imagine, and more.

We caught up with DiMare Pastry Shop last night at the Chocolate, Dessert & Wine Lovers Evening and asked them about the plans to open. They are very excited and think that they’ll have a big impact in downtown because of baked goods that they’ll be able to offer, filling a major void. They shared that they are in the planning and development stage right now with an artist’s rendition (above) being the first clue as to what we can expect.

Their newest location will be located at 30 Spring Street which is the complex that houses Volta and Bar Rosso. The specific location will be the storefront to the right of Volta that has, up until now, been vacant.

As we get more details, we’ll be sure to share them with you.
